This weekend was the first time in a looong time that we didn't have SOME kind of plans! We stayed home all day on Saturday and it was real nice! I got a lot of things done that I have wanted to do for a while now. Got the kids closets cleaned out (just in time for Christmas) and I got a LOT of baking done! Nick helped me with the baking....he loves to help with that.... We made Peanutbutter cookies, Fudge Brownies and Peanutbutter Bannana pie!! All from scratch!!! Nothing out of the box! It was amazing...I actually had time to bake from scratch!! The pie is absolutly wonderful! VERY GOOD!! I made an extra so that I will have it for the Thanksgiving Bash that we are planning with all our friends. We have decided to start our own little tradition.....Have Thanksgiving with family on Thanksgiving Day and then all our best friends are coming to our house the following Saturday! We are planning to have fried turkey, noodles, casseroles, pies and all kinds of really good food.....and drinks to round out the meal!! Can't wait!! It is going to be sooo much fun!!
